Maria brink......................Maria Brink was born on December 18 1977 into a troubled family in New York. Her father left her family as she was barely yet a teenager. Brink dropped out of high-school at 14 years old after being pregnant. To support her family, she was able to move in with her son Davion following the birth of her son. Brink was part of her very first group Pulse from Albany in New York. They played mostly local concerts with bands like Coal Chamber and Sevendust. The members split up later. When she was 25years old, she moved her home from California in the state of California to Los Angeles, looking for the big break. Brink began working at stores and also sing in pubs. She was searching for groups. In two years, Brink was introduced to Chris Howorth (now a band members) in an audition. Howorth refused to audition her because she was a woman. But he quickly altered his mind and apologized to her upon hearing her sing. The group was founded with Jeff Fabb and them, as well as guitarist Blake Bunzel. Blake Bunzel on guitar and Josh Newell on bass joined the band in the following years. In This Moment changed their name after just two concerts.
