Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. Eva Mendes was first discovered by a talent agency that noticed her potential. They advised her that she could pursue a position within the entertainment field. At the end of the day, after some thought and contemplation, she decided to leave university in order to work within the entertainment business. In the film Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror she debuted and was disappointed with her performance. She worked hard to hone her acting talents and was featured in numerous low-budget films in order to show her abilities. The path of the actor wasn't easy however his perseverance and determination were recognized. Following her triumph in Training Day, her career in acting took off.
